Meet Tim, a dedicated headache clinician at The Gold Coast Headache and Migraine Clinic™. Tim is an expert in treating headaches and migraines for a wide range of patients and is committed to delivering high-quality treatment for debilitating symptoms.
Tim is a trained Watson Headache® practitioner and holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) with the University of Winchester, England. Tim also completed a Bachelor of Sports Coaching and Development (Honours) through the University of Winchester. He focuses on treating the complexities of headache, migraine and vestibular symptoms through this foundation of knowledge and experience. He remains personable and caring throughout the assessment and treatment process ensuring you feel comfortable and at ease throughout.
Credibility
Tim has a background of two Bachelor of Science (BSc) degrees studied through the University of Winchester, United Kingdom (BSc Physiotherapy and BSc of Sports Coaching and Development with Honours). He is a credible Watson Headache® practitioner providing him with the necessary master clinical knowledge and skills to treat headaches and migraines.
Tim also has a wealth of clinical experience and knowledge from working at major acute hospitals and clinics. His clinical experience include working in the following areas: Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Acute Medical Unit and Emergency Department, Medicine including Intensive Care Unit and Surgery and Wessex Rehab (a specialist unit for upper and lower limb injuries, poly-trauma and chronic pain).
Tim streamlines his theoretical and practical skills to provide optimal care for his headache and migraine patients in accordance with the latest evidence-based practices. He assesses and treats headaches and migraines from a tailored approach to ensure long-term health and well-being.
Philosophy
Tim recognises that every individual has a unique and individual experience living with headache and migraines. His philosophy is to understand the patient holistically and from a bio-psychosocial perspective.
This provides a necessary foundation in uncovering the root cause of the headache and migraine and allows for successful treatment. Tim firmly believes in a patient-centered approach when treating headache and migraine symptoms to foster longevity in his patient’s quality of life.

Fun Facts about Tim
During his teens and early 20s, Tim played soccer representing his state Hampshire, England captaining the side. He continued to play football through his time living in the United Kingdom at competitive level and had the privilege to play in the World Soccer Youth Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Later, Tim developed a passion for Thailand’s traditional boxing ‘Muay Thai’ and regularly runs and winds down by playing chess. He also enjoys exploring the outdoors and has previously climbed Mt. Fuji in Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures in Japan. Tim has a very active Italian greyhound cross Whippet, which he loves to take on walks and funs regularly. He has also previously lived in Australia in Adelaide and the Gold Coast from 2016 to 2018.
