Cervicogenic Headache Treatment
The International Classification of Headache Disorders from the International Headache Society considers Cervicogenic Headache a secondary headache disorder. With secondary headache disorders, the head pain and symptoms originate from somewhere other than the head.
At Gold Coast Headache and Migraine Clinic, we use modern and world-leading techniques to assess your upper cervical spine and brainstem. This will determine the actual cause of your cervicogenic headache.
If the cause is from a sensitised brainstem, we can start treatment immediately. We will usually see quick results within the first 6 sessions, as we do with around 85-90% of our patients.
