Bertrand Doeuk
Director
Bertrand Doeuk is the pioneering Director and founder of the Australian Headache and Migraine Clinics. As a recognised authority in headache and migraine treatment, Bertrand is celebrated for his innovative approaches, deep expertise, and compassionate care.
Bertrand’s professional achievements are highlighted by his certification as a Certified Watson Headache® Practitioner, having completed the advanced Level 4 Clinical Facilitation Course under Dr. Dean Watson. As a Level 4 Clinical Facilitator, Bertrand serves as a mentor and guide to Watson-trained practitioners, ensuring excellence across all Australian Headache and Migraine Clinics.
David McCawley
Senior Clinician
David McCawley is our Senior Clinician on the Gold Coast. With over a decade of experience, he is committed to uncovering the root cause of his patient’s symptoms and working toward long lasting results.
David applies a patient centred and evidence-based approach when treating patients with migraines, headaches, neuralgia’s, jaw pain, dizziness and other neurological or musculoskeletal presentations. Raised on the beautiful Fraser Coast, David enjoys staying active through swimming and adventurous activities like scuba diving and horseback riding, always seeking new experiences to enrich his life.
Matt Ivan
Associate Clinician
Matt is a dedicated headache clinician at Gold Coast Headache & Migraine Clinic, known for his expertise in treating complex headache conditions using the Watson Headache® Approach.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys snowboarding, surfing, and catching live heavy metal gigs.
Joshua Kunde
Administrator
Meet Joshua, an administrator and physiotherapy student passionate about sport and healthcare. He thrives on building strong patient connections and gaining hands-on experience across hospitals and community health.
Outside of study and work, Joshua enjoys hiking, reading, and board games, and he aspires to one day take his skills to elite sports in the U.S.
